Heal for yourself <3

Sometimes, life throws curveballs at you so unexpectedly, that you’re left with no choice but to take time to fathom what even happened. Your mind becomes a reservoir for chaos. It wanders in different directions, all at once. Too many questions left unanswered. Too many questions but no one to answer. You begin to doubt every single thing, even the bare minimum good that comes your way. Your mind spirals.
Did you deserve it? Or not? Could you have done anything better? Could you have avoided it? And the list is endless. It sucks, positively. But it happened. It is the reality. You simply cannot escape.
You must not.
Grieve. Take time to collect yourself back. Let your mind wander. Heal. But, amidst all of this, remember to remind yourself at the end of the day that you’re worthy. That you’re strong enough to overcome this. That you’ve done this before, and you can do it again. That you’re not alone. That you can manage this better than the last time. Every single day. Time shall heal the wounds, and one day when you wake up in the morning, it will hurt a little less than what it did a week ago. And one day, it will stop weakening you. It will stop giving you anxiety in your stomach. One day, it will stop affecting you the way it did on day one. Wait for that one day with all your patience. Because deep inside, you know it’s coming, and will be here sooner than later. It's tough, I know. But, just wait for it. For yourself. You are worth it.
